DAY 2: An educational excursion to Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Tuesday 23 April, a day like no other, began with an early morning assembly at the lycée. The students, full of anticipation and excitement, boarded the bus, ready for an educational adventure to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. After a two-hour drive, we arrived at our destination.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber, a well-preserved medieval town in Germany, is known for its historic architecture and picturesque charm. It was the destination of our school trip, a place where history comes alive and every stone tells a story.

On arrival, we were greeted by the cobbled streets and half-timbered houses of the town. We began our exploration of the city with a guided tour. The guide, accompanied by our teachers, shared fascinating anecdotes about the city and its inhabitants, making the story lively and captivating.

After the guided tour, we had the opportunity to explore the town on our own, each at their own pace, absorbing the unique atmosphere of the town.

This excursion to Rothenburg ob der Tauber was an enriching experience, offering a valuable opportunity to learn outside the classroom. It was a day full of discovery, learning and fun. A day that will remain etched in our memories.
